Nathan Roseman – CEO and Co-Founder
With a proven track record of over 30 years in business, technology and investing, Nathan is a serial entrepreneur and a recognized expert in networking technologies, security and software applications. Prior to co-founding Teleran, Nathan was a founder and principal in Mosaic Investments, Inc., an investment management company that consulted to leading investment firms and technology companies. Before that, Nathan was President of NMI Networking Services, a network software and services firm.
Prior to NMI, Nathan was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of LAN Services. Nathan built LAN Services into a nationally recognized leader in network systems and vertical market applications, and created the award-winning line of LANWare network management and security software products. LAN Services was acquired by NMI where it played a key role in NMI’s growth and success in both the commercial and government sectors. Before founding LAN Services, Nathan was the founder and President of Computer Management Associates, a software company that developed publishing, contracting and vertical market software applications. Nathan earned a BS degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Robert Karch – CTO and Co-Founder
Rob has over 25 years’ experience in the software industry developing advanced systems management and data security software solutions combining expert systems, machine learning, analytics and database technologies. Rob has been responsible for the innovative design and development of Teleran’s award-winning software solutions. While working at Teleran, Rob has been awarded nine patents covering innovations in fraud detection and security, user behavior profiling, automated security controls, dynamic rules-based systems, machine learning, and contextualized monitoring and analytics.
Prior to founding Teleran, Rob served as Chief Architect of Information Builders’ advanced software applications division where he designed innovative and commercially successful products in the business intelligence and data warehousing arena. Before joining Information Builders, Rob held programming, design and product development roles at Harris Corporation, where he created one of the first commercially successful network diagnostic applications based on expert system techniques. Rob earned a BA in Physics from the State University College of New York at Geneseo and an MS in Physics from Florida State University.
Chris Doolittle – Vice President of Marketing and Co-Founder
Chris has over 30 years’ of business experience spanning marketing, sales, business development, and general management roles. Prior to forming Teleran, Chris was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Information Builders, Inc., where he was responsible for directing Information Builders’ advanced software applications division. At Information Builders, Doolittle turned around an under-performing division, achieving 100% revenue growth year over year.
Chris has also held marketing and business development positions at GO Corporation and Metaphor Computer Systems, a pioneering business intelligence and data warehousing firm. Prior to Metaphor, he managed financial analysis and business planning groups at PepsiCo and the General Electric Company. Chris holds a BA in History and Economics from Hamilton College and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Ken Pike – Vice President of Software Development
Over the past 20 years Ken has been responsible for developing and commercializing eight successful software products. Ken has specialized in creating development environment and applications software solutions ranging from operating systems to award-winning software development environments.
Ken’s previous management roles include Vice President of Thoroughbred Software International, Inc., where he was responsible for the development of Thoroughbred’s core application development offerings. Ken also served as Vice President of Micro Health Systems where he led development of clinical information systems for hospital critical and intensive care units. Ken earned a BS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
Joe Santangelo – VP of Business Development
Joe has been a technology professional for over 20 years, focusing on compliance, privacy, IT management, and IT efficiencies throughout his career. Prior to joining Teleran, Joe was the Data Masking Sales Manager at Delphix Corp, where he spearheaded security solutions sales to the Financial, Healthcare and Retail industries. At Delphix Joe increased security solutions sales from 10% to 40% of total company sales. Prior to Delphix, Joe was the top producing Sales Manager at Axis Technology which was acquired by Delphix. While at Axis, Joe drove Security and Compliance solutions through partners and direct sales efforts. Before joining Axis, Joe was CIO of Citi Private Bank in the Americas where he led a team of over 150 IT professionals. While at Citi, Joe successfully executed a strategy to upgrade infrastructure and migrate legacy applications to modern platforms while reducing overall expenditures by 10%. In addition Joe introduced a project metrics and management system enabling the Bank to improve on-time project delivery from 20% to 80%.
Joe is a member of the Society for Information Management (“SIM”), the Information Systems Security Association (“ISSA”) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (“HIMSS”) where he was chairman of the Privacy and Security Toolkit Task Force. Joe earned a BA from Baruch College in Business Administration and has a Master of Science degree from Steven’s Institute of Technology.
Jon Allen – Vice President Technical Services
Jon has over 15 years’ experience in software quality assurance, field services, customer support, and software development.
Following a succession of leadership roles in Teleran, Jon is now VP of Technical Services, responsible for Teleran’s world-wide customer support, technical partnership enablement, training and consulting services groups. Jon has been instrumental in building Teleran’s reputation for excellence in software quality, customer support and customer satisfaction in North America and Europe.
Prior to Teleran, Jon led the software quality assurance organization for Logistics Systems, a well-regarded public safety software company. Jon attended Drew University and University of Montana.
